Marina Bay Sands Sky Park City View

My family enjoyed our staycation very much at Marina Bay Sands hotel. This is truly an uniquely Singapore’s ironic landmark that each Singaporean should be proud of. One should at least try once to get up to  the Marina Bay Sands SkyPark  to enjoy the best city view of Singapore. If you go around the SkyPark, you can see the sea view, the Garden By The Bay as well as the Singapore Flyer and HDB housing estate in the far horizon. The skypark view may further extends to the city view which includes the Marina Bay Financial Center (MBFC), the Sail, Clifford Pier, the Fullerton Hotel, the Espanade as well as the Float.

While we had a wonderful MBS city view experience at Skypark, I got so inspired and was able to recall some of my personal goal settings as well as my last visit to the showroom of the Sail when it was initially launched sometimes in 2005.

Our best MBS experience is definitely the MBS infinity pool experience. This famous infinity pool which is designed by renowned architect, Mr. Moshie Safdie is located at the top of the Marina Bay Sands Hotel at level 57. It is not only the largest rooftop pool but it is also the tallest of its kind in the world.

Not many people may know that it was extremely challenging to built such an unique hotel with a roof top infinity pool that stretches about 150 meters across the Skypark. This 1.2m deep infinity pool is actually fabricated by steel structure and being jointly integrated at the top. I appreciate this infinity pool experience even more for the fact that this is a great engineering breakthrough to be constructed at this height.

My kids love the kids’ pool area very much because its pool depth is at knee cap level and they could enjoy the same breath taking views of the city behind the full length glass wall too. Kids are only allow to use their floats or play toys at the kids pool as per advise by the MBS life guard.

You got to experience this at least once in a life time. This is uniquely Singapore experience.
